Our Project and Portfolio Management (PPM) practice in the Portland-OR and Vancouver-WA area is expanding and seeking a Lead Project Controls Specialist with engineering and/or construction experience to support our 5-year project controls and scheduling support managed services contract with an agency of the U.S. Dept. of Transportation.

This individual will be responsible for the following tasks:

 

  • Perform project controls and scheduling support tasks for the Central region of the agency's division in Lakewood, CO
  • Work collaboratively with the managed services team consisting of 2 -3 other Project Control specialists to service all projects in the region
  • Effectively utilize the Oracle Primavera P6 application to perform required controls and scheduling tasks at both the program and project level to support all project phases
  • Generate, analyze and distribute all reports required to provide in depth insight to project stakeholders to enable informed decision making
  • Execute defined strategies for mitigating issues and improving efficiency and productivity across all assigned tasks



Minimum Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum of 3 years of project controls and scheduling experience in a large engineering, construction, energy or public works environment
